Scott Rusmisel
Project Manager
I knew I wanted to be an engineer in high school. I always had an interest in math and science, so engineering was going to be my future. I focused on Civil Engineering while studying at Penn State. At Gateway, I’m a Project Manager, Shareholder, and a member of the Board of Directors. I manage projects in the energy, real estate development and municipal market sectors. Before joining at Gateway, I started at Vegeler Ramsey and Company in Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania the day after graduating from Penn State. It was a small three-person engineering firm where I immediately gained experience with municipal, commercial, and residential development projects.
My wife and I have 2 boys. We have a small farm in Washington County, PA where we raise longhorn cattle. There is always something to do with the farm and property. I’m an outdoorsman that loves to travel and I’ve been fortunate to hunt large game in the western United States, Canada, and Africa.
