Kelley R. Harrington
Project Manager
I knew I wanted to be a Civil Engineer during my sophomore year of high school when I started exploring career paths that combined my love of the outdoors with math and science. I liked the physical and visual nature of Civil Engineering and how it balanced designing for our environment and bettering human life. Civil Engineering gave me a way to make a career out of helping others and improving the world we live in.
I am a Project Manager at Gateway and work on a variety of projects in both the public and private sectors and across almost all of our market segments. My time is split between land development, municipal, and energy clients. I also love empowering others and act as a mentor to younger female engineers at Gateway.
I began my career in 2015 at Westinghouse Electric Company as a Civil Engineer, before joining Gateway in 2018 as an Engineer-In-Training. I transitioned from an Engineer-In-Training to Project Manager in 2021.
I love the outdoors and when I am away from work, you can find me backpacking through National Parks, staying active by running, playing soccer, playing softball, and lifting, or skiing and snowboarding. When I am indoors, I am reading any and every book, teaching my two cats new tricks, and playing the guitar.
