Alberto C. Jarquin
Project Manager
I knew I wanted to be a civil engineer when I realized that I didn’t want to be an architect anymore, and my high school guidance counselor told me to apply to civil engineering schools because I liked math and construction. I serve several functions at Gateway. My favorite function is as a Project Manager. I manage a diverse portfolio of projects, which allows me to interact with different clients and to build and manage different project teams in the office. I enjoy the problem solving, design process, and collaboration that occurs on projects that leads to a tighter project team and better project execution.
From 2003 to 2009 I worked in central Massachusetts for smaller, local, civil engineering firms.
I enjoy spending time at home with my son, playing outside, and doing yardwork. I also enjoy watching sports on TV and attending live sporting events with my son and friends.
