Luke Turner
Project Manager
I knew I wanted to work at Gateway when I did a middle school project in which I was able to interview former Gateway CEO, Ruthann Omer, and was impressed by how much pride she had when talking about Gateway’s work and growth all across the region. There has always been this pride with Gateway’s teamwork and work ethic, and I knew I could, at least in a small way, excel in that culture.
My work at Gateway has primarily focused on working closely with the client at a large public utility, coordinating gas line replacement projects. In addition, I have been able to help with tasks in surveying and construction stakeout, assisting other Gateway team members in satisfying the client’s goals with each project I touch. As a Project Manager, I look forward to developing long lasting relationships with decision makers within our current client base, and new client organizations in the future. Before coming to work at Gateway, I was the retail sales manager for a fireplace and outdoor living space specialty retailer, and a relocation specialist with a moving company.
Outside of work, I enjoy traveling and adventuring with my wife and three kids. I love coaching (baseball and softball), and participating in all of my kids' activities. I also have passions for hunting, hiking and sports; rooting for my alma mater, Penn State; and all of the local Pittsburgh teams.
