Gateway Engineers Proudly Supports the Washington County Envirothon
Gateway Engineers, alongside Rivendale Farms, was proud to provide support and present a seminar on environmental regulations to Washington County high school students who competed in this year’s Envirothon, an annual environmental competition presented by the Washington County Conservation District.
The presentation, led by Gateway’s Scott Baker and Josh Scanlon, P.E., included erosion and sediment control best management practices (BMPs), stormwater management practices, pollution reduction plans, and stream restoration design. A discussion of career path opportunities was held to provide guidance to students and highlight options for their future.
Gateway and Rivendale provided a variety of raffle prizes for students to win and made a donation toward the scholarships awarded to students on the Envirothon winning team.
